Editor's Album Notes:

Sign of the Times - The Very Best of Queensrÿche was released in two formats: a single disc "greatest hits" set (disc 1), and a "deluxe" two-disc set, which contained the "greatest hits" and a second disc of rarities. Of note is the track "Justified." Originally written by Chris DeGarmo during Queensrÿche's 2002-2003 Tribe sessions, the track was never finished. DeGarmo (who has sole lyric and music writing credit on the song) finished the song in ealry 2007 and connected with the band to record it for this release. Had DeGarmo stayed with the band through the Tribe sessions, "Justified" would have likely been on Tribe.

Also interesting to long-time fans is the inclusion of three tracks by MYTH, Geoff Tate's band with guitarist Kelly Gray (who later joined Queensryche from 1998-2001) prior to joining Queensrÿche, on Disc 2. The three tracks (which have titles most fans will recognize) were re-translated into Queensryche with different music and melodies on The Warning and Rage for Order.
