Who runs it
anybodylistening.net is an independent music library, not affiliated with Queensrÿche or any other band, or with Brian Heaton and the contributors whose archived pages it keeps. The domain was registered again in November 2026, after it had lapsed. Nothing here speaks for the band, the author or the contributors.
The AnybodyListening.net archive
From 2006 to 2022 this address carried AnybodyListening.net, the Queensrÿche history site founded and written by Brian Heaton, co-author of Building An Empire: The Story of Queensrÿche: articles, a band history, a discography and a show-by-show tour archive. After 2022 the site went offline.
The archive is a historical snapshot of that site. Its pages were recovered from the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine, using the latest capture made before 2023, and kept online at their original addresses so that links from other sites still work. 1,273 of the 1,284 page addresses on record were recovered; the other 11 answer "not found", because the archive holds no usable copy of them.
Archive pages © Brian Heaton and contributors. We did not write or edit them: each page shows its text as the Wayback Machine captured it, with its original byline and date where it had them, and says so at the top. All rights remain with the author and photo contributors; photos and ticket stubs are credited to the fans who sent them. The old site's menu, banner and footer are left out; links between archived pages point to their addresses here; links to other websites are kept as plain text, because their destinations could not be checked; images are re-encoded copies of the archived files, served from this site. Every page ends with "Sources & notes": the archived copy, the capture date and what was changed.
Bands and their facts
The library lists 40 bands, each one named in the recovered archive. Band facts (type, area, dates, members, albums) come from MusicBrainz and are limited to its core data, which is in the public domain (CC0). Genres and tags are left out: MusicBrainz publishes them under a non-commercial licence, not CC0. The facts were fetched on 2026-11-02 and are stored with the site; every fact links to its MusicBrainz record. There are no biographies written for this site, and nothing on a band page is generated text.
What this site does not do
No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no external fonts and no scripts in archived pages. Nothing is loaded from the Wayback Machine or any other site when you read a page.
