Editor's Album Notes:
Operation: LIVEcrime was originally released in 1991. Documenting the Queensrÿche's legendary live performance of its acclaimed concept record, the material was recorded during a slate of shows in May 1991 in Wisconsin. Over the four shows the band recorded, amazingly, only one performance mistake was made (Geoff Tate missed the lyrics in a song). Otherwise, they could have released any one of the shows they recorded. This album was truly a moment of capturing a band at its finest.
For clarification, this audio, along with a video, was released in a box set in 1991. 10 years later, to celebrate its anniversary, the label remastered and re-released the performance, and sold the CD and DVD separately. Please note the last two tracks were added as bonus material to the 2001 remastered re-released version of this album.
