This was a special one-off show, gathering footage for the film Ford Fairlane, which had QR's song "Last Time in Paris" as a part of the soundtrack. Here is a brief description of the gig from attendee John V.:
"The show at Red Rocks in Colorado was actually September 14, 1989 on a very cold evening. In fact, it was 2 a.m. when they went on, as they were there to draw people to the venue as they were filming scenes for the film Ford Fairlane with Andrew Dice Clay. There were just a few hundred people there who waited in the cold. The staging was very basic as it was more of a 'Black Plague' set for the band in the movie that had Vince Neil, Carlos Cavazo, Randy Castillo...and the [Queensryche] guys just wore jeans, sweatshirts and stuff."
